Major Club T20 Tournament Five teams record second successive wins

The Major Club T20 cricket tournament is in full swing with CCC, Moors SC, Chilaw Marians CC, BRC and NCC coming out victorious to record their second successive wins of the tournament in matches played yesterday.
In the morning session CCC coasted to a five wicket win over Negombo CC at the NCC ground while Moors SC crushed Galle CC by eight wickets at Panagoda.

Panadura SC chalked up their first win when they defeated Air Force SC by 75 runs.

In the evening session Chilaw Marians CC overcome Police SC at NCC, with BRC getting the better of Kandy Customs CC at Panagoda and NCC destroying defending champions Army SC who underwent their second defeat at CCC grounds.

At NCC – CCC won by five wickets

Negombo CC 124 for 8 in 20 overs (Dimuth Sandaruwan 25, Himasha Liyanage 21, Jeewaka Rashmitha 29 n.o.: Vishwa Fernando 3 for 22, Chathuranga de Silva 2 for 29)
CCC 127 for 5 in 19.1 overs (Minod Bhanuka 41, Nimesh Gunasinghe 40 n.o., Chathuranga de Silva 19 n.o.: Nishan Peiris 2 for 15, Sachindu Colombage 2 for 21)

At Panagoda – Moors SC won by eight wickets

Galle CC 40 in 13.5 overs (Dinuka Dilshan 4 for 10, Lahiru Samarakoon 3 for 5, Thilan Prashan 2 for 7)
Moors SC 42 for 2 in 7.4 overs (Dinuka Dilshan 17 n.o.)

At CCC – Panadura SC won 75 runs
